Newborn

The best time to take newborn photos is during the first two weeks of your baby's life. This short window of time is often called the "newborn stage" and is the ideal period for capturing those adorable and precious early moments. There are several reasons why this early timeframe is preferred for newborn photography:

  • Sleepy and Curled Up: In their first few weeks, newborns tend to sleep a lot and are more likely to be in a deep slumber. You can position them in those adorable, curled-up poses without them fussing or moving around too much. It also makes it easier to capture those sweet, peaceful expressions.

  • Flexibility: Newborns are more flexible during the first couple of weeks of life, which allows for gentle posing and the creation of heartwarming images that show off their tiny toes, fingers, and features. After the first two weeks, babies tend to become less flexible and less sleepy, making it more challenging to achieve certain poses.

  • Connection: Newborns are still adjusting to life outside the womb and depend on their parents for comfort and security. This period is a great time to capture the deep connection between parents and their new baby. It's a beautiful way to document the early bonding moments and the profound love and affection parents have for their children.
